About Cochrane Eagle

With an emphasis on local content and strong photography, the Cochrane Eagle is the go-to publication for Cochrane residents who want to keep abreast of the news and activities happening in and around their community.

Since 2001, the Eagle has covered the town of Cochrane, which is located only 25 minutes west of Calgary, Alberta, in the foothills of the majestic Rocky Mountains. The Eagle also reaches the rural areas west of Calgary from Bragg Creek in the south, to Cremona in the north, and to the Stoney Nakoda First Nation in the west.

The Eagle publishes every Thursday with a distribution of 12,000 newspapers within Cochrane and through Canada Post.
