Bonnyville Nouvelle

The Bonnyville Nouvelle has grown up with the town and is proud to have published in Bonnyville since 1932. Bonnyville is a centre of service to the heavy oil industry. More than 60 oilfield services companies have set up offices and shops in the town to service the eight major processing facilities located 60 kilometres north of Bonnyville. In addition, it is central to the region and provides an excellent, affordable base of operations for these companies that allows them to reach into other areas such as Cold Lake, Conklin, Western Saskatchewan and even Fort McMurray.

Bonnyville has experienced substantial growth with two new industrial subdivisions, two new housing developments, a new 47 suite condo, and two new hotels (85 suites each).
